Shared office space is on the up

Category Editorial

Right now there are many commentaries on the office market, in light of the impact of the pandemic. Shared office space is on the up. We have recently aided with the lease of the Neighbourgood operation in Cape Town. Their new flagship shared work space operation is up and running filling the 2000m2 premises. We are excited to see how this shared office space adventure grows. But many users still also need dedicated office spaces.

So Spire is delighted to have assisted our client Tower Property Fund, to recently find and negotiate a 6000m2 office user coming out of the tech sector, on a long term lease, to fill a blue chip vacancy that recently became available. In a market filled with ever increasing vacancies to be able to fill a large space in such short time highlights the importance of good location, of working as a property partnership and of searching for users that fit the long term strategic fit for the property.

As a property solutions provider, finding a symbiotic fit and being able to tailor property advice like this always brings a great deal of satisfaction. These are the sort of challenges that make this industry so vibrant. It looks to be interesting times on this journey in an evolving era.
